Royse City Youth Sports Association

Welcome to Royse City Youth Sports Association

The Royse City Youth Sports Association (RCYSA) is a volunteer-based, non-profit youth sport organization that was founded in 2020. The sole purpose of the organization is to provide quality sports and recreation for the children who reside in Royse City and surrounding areas. We promote year-round sports programs and provide the organization and leadership necessary to carry on such programs in the best interest and to the advantage of all participants. Our programs are open to all players of all levels and experience.

We currently offer baseball and softball sports programs.

RCYSA also works in conjunction with the City of Royse City, and the Royse City Independent School District, to provide a clean and safe recreational environment for all participants and volunteers.

Parents and Coaches,

Thank you for a great Fall season. Looking forward to the Spring season. Here are some important dates and events coming up:

Spring registration is November 1, 2021-December 31, 2021

Late registration is January 1, 2022-January 29, 2022

We will be adding 6U Modified baseball and softball. This will be coach pitch plus one swing off the tee if the player does not hit the 5 pitches.

If you would like to volunteer for the spring season and beyond, we still have positions open. Come to the float meeting and we can go over the needs of the organization.

Thank you and have a great holiday season,

Rob Miles

Due to the rise in cases of COVID, we are putting some protocols in place. If any player tests positive for the virus they must notify our Safety Officer Allyssa Rutherford. That player will be required to stay away from all team activities for a 10 day period (as suggested by the CDC). They must no symptoms for a 72 hour period to be able to rejoin the team. Parents of the rest of the players on that team should monitor your children for symptoms for the next 7 days. If you choose to quarantine on your own, please inform the coach. As always, masks are optional at practices and games and you should practice social distancing around the fields.

We have teamed up with Caddo Mills and Community to add soccer to our program. All games will be played on Saturdays at Hooten Memorial Park in Caddo Mills starting in March.

The season will start the week of March 14, 2022

Late registraion will be from January 1, 2022 to January 29, 2022.

We are adding 6U Baseball and Softball modified Teeball.

Every parenst must print, sign, and return the PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT to your coaches before the season starts.
